Beginners Tracking Clinic, Saturday, May 1, 2010, Saco, ME. The Dog Tracking Club of Maine is holding a tracking clinic for beginner dogs on Saturday, May 1, 2010. If you are just starting with a new dog, never have tracked before, or would like to advance your skills, this clinic is for you. It will be held on or near the property of Doreen Metcalf (Timberridge Farm), 221 Simpson Road, Saco, ME.This one-day program will provide an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of tracking to get you started with the basics to work toward a tracking title. Instruction includes a basic understanding of scenting, equipment needed, techniques for training and motivating your dog to track, article recognition and tracklaying. |
